Bringing one back down
Some missions get scrubbed: a ball the cat disdains, a duplicate fountain, a bird whose chirp the household vetoed. Returns run through Amazon — open Your Orders, pick the item, and follow the return flow. Amazon's return window and any category rules shown on the listing are the ones that apply, and refunds land on the original payment method on their standard schedule.
Before boxing up 'defective' electronics, run the two-minute checklist: charge fully on a 5V/1A adapter (fast chargers can confuse the small batteries), check the mode — smart mode deliberately plays dead until touched, which is a feature wearing a disguise — and for the fountain, make sure the bowl is seated and the panel is not in sleep or child lock. A surprising share of returns are one of these.
A cat ignoring a new toy on day one is not a defect either — ambush placement and a pinch of patience convert most skeptics inside a week; our motion-toy guide has the rotation trick.
Genuinely broken or wrong? Send it back without ceremony. And if the flow loops on you, a note to the crew gets a human pointer to the right Amazon page.
